- Turning On/Off: Push the ON/OFF button to power the camera on or off.
- Shooting in Auto Mode: Select Auto mode on the Mode dial. Compose your shot, press the shutter button halfway to focus, then press fully to capture.
- Using the Zoom Function: Use the Zoom Wheel to zoom in or out. Press again after reaching optical zoom limit for digital zoom.
- Setting Language and Date/Time: After turning on, use the navigation buttons to select your preferred language and set the date and time via the setup menus.
- Using the Mode Dial: Rotate the Mode dial to switch between different shooting modes like Auto, Program AE, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Manual, Portrait, Panorama, Movie, and Scene modes.
