GE offers a limited warranty covering parts and labor for the first year, with extended coverage for specific parts in subsequent years.

  • Power: Press to wake up the display, or to turn off the dryer. Does not disconnect power supply.
  • Dry Cycles: Select Sensor Cycles (Cottons, Normal/Mixed Load, Wrinkle Free, Active Wear, Delicates, Speed Dry) or Timed Dry Cycles (Dewrinkle, Warm Up, Air Fluff). My Cycle allows saving custom cycles.
  • Timed Dry: Set desired drying time in 10-minute increments up to 2.5 hours.
  • Sensor Dry Level: Adjust dryness level from Extra Dry to Damp.
  • Dry Temp: Select temperature (Anti-Bacterial, High, Medium, Low, Extra Low).
  • Start/Pause: To start or pause a cycle.
  • My Cycle: Save and recall custom cycle combinations.
  • Display: Shows cycle status, estimated time, and messages like "CLEAN LINT FILTER".
  • Specialty Cycles: Access various specialized cycles for garments, bedding, and other items.
  • Cycle Options: Extend Tumble, Damp Alert, Drum Light, Delay Start, Lock.
  • Settings: Adjust volume and display brightness.
  • Sales Demo Mode: Simulates dryer cycles on display without actual operation.
  • Dryer Features: Drum Lamp, Built-in Rack Dry System.
  • Reversing Door Swing: Instructions provided for changing door hinge direction.
  • Pedestal Installation: Guide for installing optional pedestal drawers.

Troubleshooting and error codes

E1 Interface EEPROM Reading or writing improperly. Replace UI board.
E101 Power EEPROM Reading or writing improperly. Replace power board.
E2 Inlet Short Inlet thermistor shorted; check and replace if necessary.
E4 Inlet Open Inlet thermistor open; check and replace if necessary.
E3 Outlet Short Outlet thermistor shorted; check and replace if necessary.
E5 Outlet Open Outlet thermistor open; check and replace if necessary.
E61 Check Electrical Connection Input voltage too high; please check power connections.
E81 Power Model No model select connector detected; check model selector on power board.
E10 Blower Motor Blower motor is not rotating properly. Please check.
E11 Blocked Airflow Check ventilation system.
E12 Drum Motor Motor is not rotating properly or centrifugal switch is bad. Please check.
E16 LIN Comm Fail There is a problem with the communication between the machine control and the UI control.
E17 VFD Communication Error There is a problem with the serial communication interface between the Ul and the VFD.
E18 Stuck Button Stuck keys. Please check.
