Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Causes What to Do
Oven will not start Blown house fuse or tripped house circuit breaker. Replace fuse or reset breaker.
Power outage. Unplug oven, then plug back in.
Oven plug not completely inserted into outlet. Ensure the oven plug is fully inserted into the outlet.
Door not closed completely. Open and close the door completely.
Control panel is on, but oven will not start Door not closed completely. Open and close the door completely.
CONTROL LOCKED is displayed Control has been locked. Press and hold Mute On/Off for 3 seconds to unlock.
OVEN TOO HOT FOR SENSOR COOKING message Oven temperature is too high for sensor cooking. Oven will automatically switch to time cooking, or wait for oven to cool.
Oven floor is warm even when not in use Surface light is on under the oven floor. This is normal.
Unusual low-tone beep Attempted to change power level when not permitted. Some functions are pre-selected and cannot be changed.
Oven emits smoke or gray smoke after baking Oils are burning off the stainless steel interior. This is normal.
Food browning faster on top than bottom Rack set in upper position. Always use the rack in the lower position.
Oven temperature fluctuates during cooking Cooking element cycles on/off to maintain temperature. This is normal.
Extractor fan turns on automatically Protects microwave from excess heat from cooktop. This is normal. Fan may stay on up to 30 minutes after controls are turned off.
SENSOR ERROR message Door opened during sensor cooking before steam detected. Do not open door until steam is visible and countdown appears. Use Cook Time if needed.
