This is a limited warranty covering defects in material or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.

Telephone Operation: To answer a call, press TALK. To hang up, press TALK again. To make a call, press TALK before dialing and again to hang up. Use REDIAL to redial the last number. Use FLASH for custom calling services. Use CHANNEL to change channels to reduce static. Use TEMPORARY TONE to access touch-tone services with a pulse line. Use PAGE/FIND to locate the handset. RINGER switch must be ON for incoming calls. VOLUME adjusts earpiece volume. LOW BATTERY indicator signals low battery.
Clock Radio Operation: Use RADIO ON/OFF to turn the radio on/off. Use FM/AM switch to select broadcast band. Use VOLUME to adjust radio volume. Use TUNE buttons to change stations; hold down to scan. Use ABC STATION buttons to store favorite stations. Use WAKE 1/WAKE 2 buttons for alarms, set to MUSIC or ALARM. Use SNOOZE to delay alarm. Use SLEEP to set radio to turn off automatically. Use NITE LITE to turn the night light on/off.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No dial tone Check installation: base cable connected, "IN USE" light on, phone cord connected. Disconnect base and test another phone. Check if handset is out of range. Ensure battery is charged (12 hours) and installed correctly. Check if "TALK" button works and "CHARGE/IN USE" light indicates charging. Ensure tone/pulse selector is programmed correctly. Ensure "RINGER" is ON. Disconnect other phones on the line. See "No dial tone" solutions.
Dial tone OK, but no line Ensure tone/pulse selector is programmed correctly.
Handset does not ring Ensure "RINGER" selector is ON. Too many phone extensions may be present; disconnect some. See "No dial tone" solutions.
Static, noise, or weak incoming/outgoing sound Change channels. Check if handset is out of range; move closer to base. Consider moving the base. Change the battery. Ensure base is not connected to other electrical devices.
Handset beeps continuously, as if battery is low Place handset in base for 20 seconds to reprogram security code. If problem persists, charge battery for 12 hours. Clean charger contacts on handset and base with a soft cloth or eraser. See "No dial tone" solutions. Change the battery.
Memory dialing Did you program memory locations correctly? Did you follow the correct dialing sequence? Ensure tone/pulse selector is programmed correctly. Did you reprogram numbers after a power outage or battery change?
