Making a Call: Press TALK before dialing. Press TALK to hang up.
Receiving a Call: Press TALK on the handset.
Volume: Use VOL buttons to adjust volume.
Mute: Press MUTE to talk privately.
Ringer Switch: Must be ON for handset to ring.
Finding the Handset: Press PAGE on the base.
Displays caller information. Stores up to 40 calls. If you have Caller ID with Call Waiting, you can see who is calling when you hear the waiting tone.
Stores up to ten 24-digit numbers for quick dialing. Press MEM, then memory location number (0-9), and MEM again to store.

| Answers on 10th ring | Ensure answering machine is ON, check for full memory. |
| Incomplete messages | Check extensions, full memory, or accidental PLAY button press. |
| No response to remote commands | Use touch-tone phone, enter security code, check auto-hang up. |
