Cordless Phone Basics

  • Making a Call: Press TALK/call back button, dial number, press TALK/call back again.
  • Receiving a Call: Press TALK/call back button when phone rings.
  • Call Transfer: During an external call, press the TRANSFER button on the handset you wish to transfer to.
  • Redial: Press TALK/call back button, then press REDIAL button.

Answering System Setup

  • Recording Outgoing Announcement: Press and hold RECORD button on base, speak, release.
  • Reviewing Announcement: Press REVIEW left button.
  • Rings to Answer: Use CID/VOL buttons to set the number of rings.
  • Voice Time/Day Stamp: Ensure answering system is ON. Press FORMAT button.

Caller ID

  • Receiving CID: Information displays automatically for incoming calls.
  • Dialing a CID Number: Select CID record, press TALK/call back.
  • Storing CID: Press MEMORY button, select location, store number/name.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No Dial Tone Phone not plugged in. Ensure phone line cord and power adapter are securely plugged in.
Cannot Make/Receive Calls Phone out of range or interference. Move closer to base or relocate base away from interference sources.
Handset Not Ringing Ringer switch OFF. Turn RINGER switch ON.
Answering System Not Recording Memory full or system OFF. Delete old messages or turn system ON.
Poor Reception Distance from base or interference. Move closer to base, change channels, or relocate base.
