Warranty Information

Refer to the Owner's Manual for specific warranty information.

Cooktop Burners

  • Checking the Igniters: After gas and electrical connections are made and leaks are checked, test each burner's electric igniter by turning the valve to the LITE position. Ensure it lights when gas is available and turns off when the valve is turned from LITE.
  • Burner Ignition: The cooktop uses spark ignition. In case of a power failure, burners can be lit with a match by holding the flame near the burner while slowly turning the control knob. Wait 5 seconds and retry if it doesn't light.
  • Burner Flames: Flames should be blue with no yellow, not flutter, and have an inner cone between 1/2" to 3/4" long.
