The KELMAN MINITRANS is an on-line Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) system for transformer diagnostics. It measures key fault gases (hydrogen, carbon monoxide, acetylene) and moisture in transformer oil, along with transformer load current. This data provides insights into transformer condition, identifying developing faults, paper degradation, and electrical arcing. The system utilizes dynamic headspace sampling and Photo-acoustic Spectrographic technology. It features an IP55 rated enclosure, internal gas sensing, transformer load tracking, and user-configurable relays. Communication options include Ethernet, RS-232, and various modem types. The product stores up to 10,000 records internally and can download data to a PC for analysis. Recommended maintenance includes periodic cleaning of air filters and the oil filter, and battery replacement.
