GE Appliances provides a one-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for cooktop parts and labor.
To turn on a burner, touch and hold the On/Off pad. Adjust power level by swiping the gray arc, touching anywhere on the arc, or using the + or - pads. Shortcuts to High and Low are available. To turn off, touch the individual burner's On/Off pad or the "All Off" pad.
Synchronize Left Elements: Hold "Sync Burners" to connect two burners; operate as usual. Touch "On/Off" on either burner or "Sync Burners" again to turn off.
WiFi & Bluetooth: Download the SmartHQ app for WiFi pairing. Press "WiFi Connect" on the cooktop to begin. For Bluetooth, press "Bluetooth Connect" to enter Pair mode, then tap cookware or press "ChefConnect" on enabled devices. Remove devices by holding "Bluetooth Connect" and "All Off" for 3 seconds.
Power Sharing: On 36" models, two elements in the same zone share power. If one is at High, the other may operate at a reduced level.
Cooktop Lockout: Touch "Control Lock" for 3 seconds to lock/unlock.
Kitchen Timer: Touch "Timer Select," then + or - to set time. It starts automatically. Touch and hold "Timer Select" to turn off.
Precision Cooking: Initiate by powering on an element, tapping "Precision Cooking," tapping "Cookware," and adjusting temp with +/-, or slider.

| Scratches on cooktop glass surface | Cookware with rough bottoms being used or coarse particles (salt or sand) were between the cookware and the surface of the cooktop. | To avoid scratches, use the recommended cleaning procedures. Make sure bottoms of cookware are clean before use, and use cookware with smooth bottoms. |
| Areas of discoloration on the cooktop | Hot surface on a model with a light-colored glass cooktop. | This is normal. The surface may appear discolored when it is hot. This is temporary and will disappear as the glass cools. |
