  • Charging the Unit: Fully charge the camera before initial use via the power adapter or USB. The status indicator flashes red while charging and turns off when fully charged.
  • Modes Navigation: Press the Power button to turn on the camera. Press the Mode button to switch between Video-Direct Mode, Photo-Direct Mode, and Cloud Mode.
  • Camera Modes: Insert a micro SD card (sold separately). Select Video Mode to record video by pressing the Record button. Select Photo Mode to take pictures by pressing the Record button.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Cannot watch live viewMove camera closer to mobile.
Flickering segments on live viewTV system setting (50Hz/60Hz) is incorrect.

Cloud Warning:

AlertCause/Solution
One timeCannot connect to cloud AP or invalid network password. Camera not inside WiFi area or weak signal. Check AP settings or move camera closer to cloud AP.
Two timesNo internet or the cloud server is not accessible. Cannot log in cloud server via internet. Cloud service may be blocked by firewall.
Three timesCloud server username or password is incorrect. Refer to i in [Setup] for instructions. Username already taken. Create new account in [Unieye].
