Before Operating Your Dryer

Read your dryer Owner's Guide. It has important safety and warranty information.
  1. Prepare items for drying.
  2. Check that lint filter is clean and in place.
  3. Load the dryer. If desired, add a dryer fabric softener sheet. Close the door.
  4. Select the appropriate cycle and settings for each load. Turn the Cycle Selector knob, press TEMP and DRYNESS to adjust settings, and press OPTIONS Select for options. Press START to begin.
  5. To pause, press Pause/Cancel once. To stop or change the cycle, press Pause/Cancel twice.
  6. A signal will sound at the end of the cycle. Remove items immediately.
  7. Clean the lint filter after every load.

Cycle Selection

Turn the Cycle Selector knob to select the desired cycle. Auto Dry cycles use sensors to determine dryness level and time. Timed Dry allows manual setting of drying time. Adjust temperature, dryness level, and options as needed.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Error Code Error Possible Causes Solutions
4 beeps / E4A Dryer ran too long Lint filter blocked. Ventilation system clogged. Dryer overloaded. Remove lint; wash lint filter to remove softener sheet residue. Clean out ventilation system. Reduce load size.
6 beeps / E68 Push button does not function Push button held too long or wedged in the control panel. Press buttons lightly and release. Disengage button.
