Warranty Information

Refer to the "Dryer User Instructions" for complete warranty information.

Dryer Safety

Always read and obey all safety messages. Safety messages will identify the potential hazard, tell you how to reduce the chance of injury, and tell you what can happen if instructions are not followed.

Tools and Parts

Check that you have everything necessary for correct installation. Proper installation is your responsibility.

Location Requirements

  • A sturdy floor to support the dryer and a total weight of 200 lb (90.7 kg).
  • A level floor with a maximum slope of 1 in. (2.5 cm).
  • Install where protected from water and/or weather.
  • Check local codes for installation restrictions (garages, closets, mobile homes, sleeping quarters).

Installation Clearances

The location must be large enough to allow the dryer door to open fully. Minimum spacing requirements are provided for recessed areas or closets.

Electrical Requirements

  • Requires a separate 30 amp circuit.
  • Grounded electrical outlet within 2 ft (61 cm) of the dryer.
  • For US: Use a 4-wire or 3-wire connection as per local codes and receptacle type (14-30R or 10-30R).
  • For Canada: Use a 4-wire, 115/230-volt, 60-Hz, AC-only electrical supply on a separate 30-amp circuit.
  • Do not use an extension cord.

Grounding Instructions

Dryer must be grounded. Use a cord with an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. Plug into a properly installed and grounded outlet.

Venting Requirements

  • Use a heavy metal vent (4 in. or 10.2 cm diameter). Do not use plastic or metal foil vent.
  • Exhaust must be vented outdoors.
  • Do not connect to gas vent, chimney, wall, ceiling, or concealed space.
  • Use clamps to seal joints. Do not use duct tape.

Install Vent System

Connect the vent to the exhaust hood and dryer. Ensure vent is not crushed or kinked.

Install Leveling Legs

Use two or more people. Protect floor with cardboard. Screw legs in by hand, then use a wrench to finish turning until diamond marking is no longer visible.

Level Dryer

Check levelness side-to-side and front-to-back. Adjust legs as needed. Re-level after moving to final position.

Connect Vent

Connect vent to dryer exhaust outlet with a clamp. Ensure vent is not crushed or kinked. Ensure dryer is level.

Reverse Door Swing (Optional)

Instructions provided for reversing the door swing for both large side-swing and super wide side-swing doors.

Complete Installation

Check all parts, tools, and packaging. Verify final location and venting. Ensure dryer is level. Remove protective film and tape. Plug into grounded outlet. Run dryer on a full heat cycle for 20 minutes. Check for heat and troubleshoot if necessary.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting Steps
If the dryer will not start, check the following: Controls are set in a running or "On" position.
Start button has been pushed firmly.
Dryer is plugged into a grounded outlet.
Electrical supply is connected.
House fuse is intact and tight; or circuit breaker has not tripped.
Dryer door is closed.
If you do not feel heat, turn the dryer off and check the following: There may be 2 fuses or circuit breakers for the dryer. Check to make sure both fuses are intact and tight, or that both circuit breakers have not tripped. If there is still no heat, contact a qualified technician.
