Checking Igniters

After connecting the cooktop and checking for leaks, check the electric igniters. Push and turn a burner knob to LITE to hear a ticking sound (igniter sparking). Once the burner ignites, turn to the desired flame size. Adjust flame as needed using the marks as a guide.

Adjusting Low Flame Setting

For regular burners, push and turn to LITE, then quickly to LOWEST POSITION. If the burner goes out, reset to OFF. Remove the knob and use a thin-bladed screwdriver to engage the slotted screw inside the valve stem. Turn counterclockwise to increase flame size, clockwise to decrease. Adjust until you can quickly turn from LITE to LOWEST POSITION without extinguishing the flame. The flame should be as small as possible without going out.

For dual/triple burners, adjust each portion individually. Follow the same steps, using screws A and B to adjust rear/outer and center portions, respectively.
