1. Check Igniters: Ensure electric igniters spark and burners ignite within 4 seconds after gas is supplied. Visually confirm flame and turn knob from LITE position. Test each burner.
2. Adjust LOW Setting: Push and turn to LITE, then to lowest position. If it goes out, reset to OFF. Remove knob, insert screwdriver into valve stem, turn to adjust flame size (counterclockwise to increase, clockwise to decrease). Adjust for smallest possible flame without extinguishing.
3. Turn on Electrical Power and Open Gas Valve: Ensure range and supply line connectors are leak-free. Connect to electrical power. Open main gas shutoff valve.
4. Check Burner Caps: Ensure all burner caps and grates are properly installed. Caps should fit snugly and be level on burner heads. Slide caps to check centering. Do not remove center screw.
