Oven Operation Summary

Basic Controls:

  • Thermostat (1): Sets the desired temperature.
  • Selector (2): Selects cooking functions.
  • Electronic Programmer (3): For automatic/semi-automatic cooking and timer functions.
  • End of Cooking (4): Used with the programmer.

Cooking Functions:

  • Light Only: Turns on the interior oven light.
  • Conventional Heating: Uses top and bottom elements for static heating. Preheat before use.
  • Lower/Upper Resistance + Ventilation: Forced air convection for even cooking, inside and out.
  • Full Grill: Uses the bottom element. Preheat for 15 minutes. Use on the lowest shelf for 'blind baking'.
  • Semi Forced Air Convection: Fan and grill element for crisping the outside while cooking evenly. Also useful for grilling.
  • Forced Air Convection: Fan and rear element for even temperature throughout. Preheat before use.
  • Defrosting: Fan operates without element. Oven door must remain closed.
  • Lower Heating Element Only: Uses the bottom element. Preheat for 15-20 minutes. Ideal for 'blind baking'.
  • Oven Self-Clean Mode: A 1.5-hour cleaning cycle. Remove all accessories.

Programming:

  • Setting Time of Day: Use '+' and '-' buttons.
  • Manual Cooking: Cancel "AUTO" flashing by pressing the " " button.
  • Minute Minder: A simple timer independent of cooking functions.
  • Automatic Cooking: Set start and end times, temperature, and program. "AUTO" symbol indicates programming.
  • Semi-Automatic Cooking: Set either cooking duration or end time.

Important Notes:

  • Always preheat the oven.
  • Do not line the oven base with foil.
