Preparing for Drying: Follow fabric care labels. Separate items by fabric type, weight, and color. Ensure buckles, buttons, and trim are heatproof. Close zippers, fasten hooks, and tie strings to prevent tangling. Turn pockets inside out if possible and check for stains that may need re-treatment. Small items can be placed in a mesh bag. Ensure the lint screen is clean and in place.
Loading the Dryer: Fill the dryer drum 1/3 to 1/2 full for optimal tumbling. Do not overload. For large items, dry only 2-3 at a time and fill the rest of the load with smaller items. For delicate or small loads, add lint-free towels. Avoid overdrying to prevent wrinkling, shrinkage, and static electricity. Dryer sheets can be added if desired.
Operating the Dryer: Close the dryer door. Set the cycle controls as specified for your model. Turn the cycle selector clockwise to the desired setting. Push the Start Button for 2 seconds or turn the START knob clockwise to ON and hold for 1-2 seconds. The dryer will stop when the door is opened. To restart, close the door and push the Start Button or turn the knob again.
Cycle End: Remove items immediately once the cycle is complete. If removing items before the cycle ends, turn the cycle selector to OFF.
Troubleshooting and error codes
