Read all instructions carefully. Ensure proper grounding and electrical requirements are met. Save instructions for future reference and for the local inspector.
Installation Types
- A. Recirculating (Non-Vented Ductless): Involves attaching the mounting plate, preparing the top cabinet, and mounting the oven.
- B. Outside Top Exhaust (Vertical Duct): Includes attaching the mounting plate, preparing the top cabinet, adapting the blower, checking the damper, mounting the oven, adjusting the exhaust adaptor, and connecting ductwork.
- C. Outside Back Exhaust (Horizontal Duct): Requires preparing the rear wall, attaching the mounting plate, preparing the top cabinet, adapting the blower, and mounting the oven.
Mounting Instructions
Detailed steps are provided for attaching the mounting plate to the wall (using toggle bolts and ensuring it's secured to a stud), preparing the top cabinet with necessary holes, and finally, mounting the microwave oven securely to the plate and cabinet. For safety, two people are recommended for installation. Ensure the microwave is level and the power cord is routed correctly without being pinched.
