Emergency Services

To make an emergency call, ensure the handset is on and in service. Press 'Start' to return to the Home screen. Dial 112 (or 999 in UK, 000 in Australia) and press 'Start'. Follow operator instructions. State your required service (Police, Ambulance, etc.) and your position.

General Care

Handle the handset with care. Avoid contact with liquids, extreme temperatures, and magnetic media. Do not immerse in liquid, paint the handset, or subject it to rough treatment. Remove the battery only when the handset is off. Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Use only authorized chargers. Remove expired batteries promptly. Clean with an anti-static cloth.

Safety Precautions

Switch off the phone and remove the battery in radiation-sensitive areas like hospitals, research centers, and airplanes. Do not use the handset on the ground without permission. Follow medical facility instructions in hospitals. Observe "Turn off mobile" signs near petrol stations. Be careful with vibration and volume settings if you have a heart condition. Keep away from children. Do not use where blasting is in progress. Medical devices like pacemakers may be affected. Phone contains metal that may cause skin irritation. Avoid sitting on or placing heavy objects on the phone.

Road Safety

Maintain proper vehicle control and full attention while driving. Pull over to answer/make calls if necessary. Do not stop on the motorway shoulder except in emergencies. Switch off the handset at refueling points. Do not store flammable materials with the transmitter. Consult dealers if vehicle problems are suspected. Check local laws regarding phone use while driving.

Aircraft Safety

Switch off and remove the battery on aircraft. Illegal use can lead to service suspension or legal action.

Hospital Safety

Switch off and remove the battery where prohibited. Follow medical facility instructions.
