Getting Started: Insert SIM card, then power on the device by pressing and holding the power button. Connect your device to the Mobile WiFi to access the internet. Scan the QR code to download HUAWEI SmartHome App for device management. Charging: Connect the device to a power source using the original Huawei charging cable and adapter. A red indicator signifies low battery.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Signal indicator is red or yellow, no internet access Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted and has sufficient balance/internet access. Check if PIN verification is enabled and enter the correct PIN in the HUAWEI SmartHome App. If the issue persists, restore Mobile WiFi to factory settings.
Signal is weak or network speed is slow Move Mobile WiFi closer to a window or to an open area. If your phone has good signal in the same spot, restore Mobile WiFi to factory settings.
Cannot connect after inactivity Press the Power button. If indicators light up, it was in sleep mode. Disable sleep mode in HUAWEI SmartHome App. If no response, power it on by pressing and holding the Power button.
Cannot access web-based management page (192.168.8.1) This may be due to an IP address conflict. Try entering 192.168.9.1.
