Choosing Default Mode at Power Up

You can program your camera to turn on in Video, Photo, Triple Shot Sequence, or Photo Every "X" Seconds mode. Press the SHUTTER button to toggle choices and POWER/MODE to save.

Choosing Video Resolution

Select from various resolutions like WVGA, 720p, 960p, and 1080p. Each offers different frame rates and fields of view suitable for various shooting scenarios.

Shooting Modes

Video: Press POWER/MODE until the video icon is shown, then press SHUTTER to record. Press SHUTTER again to stop.

10 Second Timer: Press POWER/MODE until the 10-second timer icon appears. Press SHUTTER to take a photo in 10 seconds.

Photo Every "X" Seconds: Press POWER/MODE until the blinking camera icon appears. Press SHUTTER to start. Default is every 2 seconds. This timing can be adjusted in the settings menu.

Single Shot Photos: Press POWER/MODE until the solid camera icon appears. Press SHUTTER to take a photo.

Triple Shot Sequence: Press POWER/MODE until the triple shot icon appears. Press SHUTTER to take three photos in two seconds.

Settings Menu

Press POWER/MODE until the "SEt" icon appears, then press SHUTTER to enter. Use POWER/MODE to cycle through settings and SHUTTER to select/save.

One Button Mode: Simplifies operation by automatically starting recording upon power-up.

Exposure Settings: Choose between Spot Meter (SPE) and Center Weighted Average Meter (Cnt).

Upside Down Image Capture: Save photos/videos upside down to appear right-side up on review (UPd).

Video Live Feed: Set to ON (LFO) or OFF (LFF) to control live video output.

On Screen Display: Turn status icons ON (OSO) or OFF (OSF) during live feed.

Photo Timing: Adjust interval for Photo Every "X" Seconds mode (P2/PS/PIO/P30/P60).

LED Blinking: Control LED light ON (bL) or OFF (bLF) for stealth.

Beeping Sound: Set beeping sound ON (bPD) or OFF (bPF).

NTSC/PAL Setting: Select based on your region (nSC or PAL).

File Deletion: Delete last file (LSE) or all files and format SD card (ALL).

Auto Power Off: Set camera to turn off automatically after a set time (OFF, 60, 120, 300 seconds).

Time and Date: Set camera's time and date (dAt).

Exiting Settings: Press SHUTTER when "ESC" is displayed.

Connectivity and Charging

The camera is compatible with PCs and Macs. Use the included USB cable to transfer files and charge the battery. The battery charges via USB and can be charged while recording.

TV/HDTV Connection

Connect to a TV using RCA or Component cables. Ensure the correct NTSC/PAL setting is selected. Review photos and videos using the POWER/MODE and SHUTTER buttons.

Troubleshooting

"SOS" Message: File corruption; press any button to repair.

"Hot" Message: Camera overheating; allow to cool down.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem/Message on LCD Cause Solution
SOS File corruption during recording Press ANY BUTTON on the camera to repair the file.
Hot Camera has become too hot Allow the camera to sit and cool down before attempting to use it again. No damage has occurred.
