Charging the Battery: Remove the camera from its housing, insert a microSD card, open the bottom door, insert the battery, and close the door. Charge the battery by connecting the camera to a computer or USB charging adapter using the included USB cable. The status light indicates charging.
Powering On/Off: Press the Power/Mode button once to turn on. Press and hold for two seconds to turn off.
Software Updates: Update camera software via the GoPro App or GoPro software for the latest features.
Default Settings: The camera powers up with default settings for Video, Photo, Multi-Shot, QuikCapture, and Wireless.
Inserting/Removing MicroSD Cards: Slide the card into the slot with the label facing the front. To remove, press the edge of the card to eject it.
