Powering On and Off
Press the Mode button to turn your GoPro MAX on. To turn it off, press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds.
Navigating the Touch Screen
- Tap: Select an item or turn a setting on/off.
- Swipe Left or Right: Switch between Video, Photo, and Time Lapse modes.
- Swipe Down: Open the Dashboard.
- Swipe Up: Access the Media Gallery.
- Press and Hold Capture Screen: Turn on and adjust Exposure Control.
Capture Modes
Your GoPro MAX has three main capture modes: Video, Photo, and Time Lapse. Switch between them by swiping left or right.
Taking Photos
Choose between traditional, 360, and panoramic photos. Use the Shutter button to capture images.
Recording Video
Capture traditional videos in HERO mode or 360 footage. HERO mode offers resolutions like 1080p and 1440p, while 360 mode captures 5.6K video.
Troubleshooting and error codes
