Cool Mode Operation Summary

The system operates within a 60°F - 86°F range in cooling mode. The indoor unit uses its ambient temperature sensor and the remote control's set temperature to determine the need for cooling. Once a cooling call is justified, it's communicated to the outdoor unit. The indoor unit's louver opens, and the fan operates at the last set speed. The outdoor unit then manages the EEV position and compressor speed. A delay of up to 3 minutes may occur before the outdoor fan and compressor start. Indoor fan speed can be manual (Low, Medium, High) or automatic, based on the difference between room temperature and setpoint.

Heat Mode Operation Summary

In Heat Mode, the system aims to maintain the set temperature, with a range of 60°F - 86°F. The indoor fan runs continuously. The system monitors indoor and outdoor temperatures to adjust compressor speed and refrigerant flow. Cold air prevention ensures warm air delivery. Defrosting occurs when frost is detected on the outdoor coil to maintain efficiency.
