Unit Start: Press ON/OFF button. The unit starts, displaying previous operation status (except Timer setting). Power indicator on the indoor unit lights up.

Select Operation Mode: Press MODE button to cycle through AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN. The unit runs in the selected mode.

Fan Speed: Press FAN button to select fan speed: AUTO, LO, MED, HI. Note: AUTO is not available in FAN mode.

Unit Stop: Press ON/OFF button. Only the time remains on the LCD. Indoor unit indicators turn off, and the vertical flap closes automatically.

Remote Controller Operation: Aim the signal transmission head at the indoor unit's receiver. Range is up to 7m without obstacles. Avoid dropping the controller.

Battery Loading: Remove the battery cover, insert 2 R-03 batteries following polarity, and replace the cover.

Power Failure Resume: The unit resumes its previous operation after power is restored. For long periods of non-use, shut off the power supply.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit does not start Power cord is not plugged in. Plug in the power cord.
Unit does not start Fuse is blown. Replace the fuse.
Unit does not start Remote controller is defective or batteries are dead. Replace the batteries or use the emergency switch.
Unit does not start Power failure resume mode is active and waiting for delay. Wait for 3 minutes.
Unit does not start Indoor/outdoor unit wiring is incorrect. Check and correct the wiring.
Cooling is not sufficient Set temperature is not low enough. Lower the set temperature.
Cooling is not sufficient Air filter is dirty. Clean the air filter.
Cooling is not sufficient Room temperature is too high. Reduce room temperature.
Cooling is not sufficient Outdoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight. Provide shade for the outdoor unit.
Cooling is not sufficient Airflow is blocked. Ensure no obstructions around indoor/outdoor units.
Noise is heard Unit is not installed on a level surface. Ensure the unit is installed level.
Noise is heard Fan is hitting an obstruction. Check for obstructions.
Noise is heard Normal operation sounds (refrigerant flow, etc.). This is normal.
