  • Using the Burners: Select the control knob for the desired burner, press down, and turn counter-clockwise to HIGH. The ignitors will spark. For models with flame failure safety, hold the knob for 10 seconds after the burner lights. Adjust flame between HIGH and LOW. If a burner doesn't light within 15 seconds, turn to OFF and wait one minute. Always turn knobs to OFF after use.
  • Flame Failure Safety: If equipped, this device cuts off gas if the flame blows out. Hold knob for 10 seconds after lighting. If flames are extinguished, wait one minute before relighting.
  • Power Failure: Use a match to light burners by holding it near the burner and turning the knob to HIGH.

Troubleshooting and error codes

A burner does not light.
  • Check power is switched on and no power failure.
  • Check gas supply valve is on and working.
  • If using bottled gas, check it is not empty.
  • Clean dirty ignitors with a toothbrush and methylated spirits.
  • Ensure burner parts are properly located with the cap sitting flat.
The flames are yellow or hard to start.

One of my burners has an uneven flame.
