Appliance does not start up
  • Fault with fuse in mains electricity supply.
  • Plug not inserted in wall socket.

  • Drain hose is not crimped or bent.
  • Drain hose is not too high.
Alarm sounds in a series of 4 beeps, pause, 4 beeps, pause... Temperature sensor failed. Call Authorised Service Center.

Lower spray arm rotates with difficulty
  • Spray arm blocked by small items or food remains.
Lid in detergent compartment cannot be closed
  • Compartment overfilled.
  • Mechanism clogged with detergent remnants.
Remnants of detergent stuck inside dispenser Compartment was damp when filled. Ensure it's dry before adding detergent.
Water remains inside appliance after programme has ended
  • Blockage or kink in drainage hose.
  • Pump jammed.
  • Filters blocked.

Unusual amount of foam
  • Washing up liquid used instead of rinse aid.
  • Remove spilled rinse aid.
Appliance stops suddenly while washing
  • Electricity supply cut off.
  • Water supply interrupted.
Knocking sound while washing Spray arm knocking against dishes.
Rattling sound while washing Crockery not stacked properly.
Knocking sound from inlet valves Normal; caused by pipe installation. No remedy.
Remnants of food stuck to dishes
  • Improper loading.
  • Too many items.
  • Items touching.
  • Insufficient detergent.
  • Wrong wash programme.
  • Obstructed spray arm.

  • Blocked or incorrectly fitted filters.
  • Waste-water pump jammed.
Plastic items are discoloured
  • Insufficient detergent.
  • Detergent lacks bleaching properties. Use one with a bleaching agent.
White stains on crockery, milky appearance on glasses
  • Insufficient detergent.
  • Rinse-aid setting too low.
  • No salt added (if water is hard).
  • Water softener setting too low.
  • Consider using detergent with phosphates.
Dishes, cutlery, etc. have not been dried
  • Programme without drying function selected.
  • Rinse-aid setting too low.
  • Items removed too soon.
Glasses have a dull appearance Rinse-aid setting too low.
Tea stains or lipstick not completely removed
  • Detergent lacks bleaching effect.
  • Washing temperature too low.
Traces of rust on cutlery Cutlery not sufficiently rustproof.
