Components: Familiarize yourself with the parts of your Haier tumble dryer, including the control panel, door, service door for the condenser, water collection tank, drainage outlet, back plate, power cord, and screw feet.
Preparation: Ensure the dryer is level and away from flammable substances. Check for any transportation damage. The ambient temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C.
Safety Instructions: Follow basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. This includes proper use, cord maintenance, load limits, cleaning frequency, and avoiding drying certain items like foam rubber or oil-affected fabrics.
Installation: Level the dryer using adjustable feet. Ensure the surrounding environment is dry and ventilated.
Control Panel: Understand the function of each button and knob: Power, Program knob, Start/Pause, Signal, Anti-crease, Delay, Dry level, and Temperature level. The display shows remaining time and other information.
Program Selection: Choose the appropriate drying program from 16 options based on fabric type (e.g., Cotton Dry, Synthetic Dry, Special programs like Shirt, Jeans, Sport).
Selecting Functional: Adjust additional settings like Dry Level (Extra dry, Ready to wear, Ready to iron), Temperature Level (High, Med, Low, Airing), Signal, Anti-Crease, and Delay Start.
Drying: Press the Start/Pause button to begin. The dryer stops automatically when the cycle ends. The "end" sign appears. Remove laundry promptly or the anti-crease phase will activate.
Turning Off: Press the power button and unplug the dryer.
Drying Methods: Prepare laundry by spinning it well, emptying pockets, closing zippers, and unfolding large items. Use the drying rack for items like sport shoes or woolens. Load laundry evenly and avoid overloading. Follow fabric softener instructions.
Care Chart & Load Reference: Consult the care chart for laundry symbols and the load reference for recommended weights for different items.
Cleaning the Tumble Dryer: Wipe the body and control panel with a damp cloth. Avoid organic solvents.
Cleaning the Filter Screen: Clean after every drying program to ensure good ventilation. Open the door, remove, open, clean the filter screen, and replace it.
Emptying the Water Collection Tank: Empty the tank after each program. Note: Do not use this water for drinking or food processing.
Cleaning the Drum: Periodically clean the inside of the drum.
Cleaning the Condenser: Clean the condenser monthly. Unlock the maintenance flap, pull out the air cooler, clean it, and reassemble.
