Oven Safety

Control Panel Functions

  • Oven Mode Controls: Select Bake, Broil, Convection, Warm/Proof.
  • Display: Shows time and cooking status.
  • Cook Time: Sets a specific cooking duration.
  • Start Time: Sets a delayed start for cooking.
  • Timer: Sets an audible countdown timer.
  • Light: Turns oven light on/off.
  • Settings: Access to clock, tones, temperature units, and Sabbath Mode.
  • Self-Clean: Initiates the self-cleaning cycle.

Oven Use

  • Preheat the oven for Bake, Convection Bake, and Convection Roast modes.
  • Use oven racks for all cooking; do not place food directly on the oven bottom.
  • The temperature probe can be used for most modes (except Warm/Proof, Sabbath, Self-Clean) to monitor internal food temperature.

Convection Cooking

  • Offers faster and more even cooking.
  • Reduce recipe temperature by 25°F (15°C) for Convection Bake.

Self-Cleaning Cycle

  • Remove all racks and debris before starting.
  • Select cleaning level and duration.
  • The oven door will lock during the cycle.
