Basic Operation Summary:

  1. Installation: Choose a cool, well-ventilated, dry location away from heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation space. Allow the appliance to stand for at least 2 hours before switching it on.
  2. Start-up: Unpack, clean the interior, plug in the appliance, and set the temperature control. If equipped, use the SUPER FREEZE SWITCH. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 4 hours before filling.
  3. Temperature Selection: Adjust the thermostat using a coin or screwdriver to set the desired temperature.
  4. Indicator Lights: Green indicates the appliance is operating. Red indicates the interior temperature is too high (may occur during initial start-up, after defrosting, or when adding fresh food). Yellow indicates the SUPER FREEZE function is active.
  5. Freezing Fresh Food: Place fresh food in the pre-freeze compartment or bottom of the freezer. Do not exceed the appliance's freezing capacity (XX kg/24h). Use the SUPER FREEZE function if needed.
  6. Storage: Ensure proper stacking height and always leave space between the lid and frozen food. Maintain a storage temperature of at least -18°C.
  7. Defrosting: Recommended once or twice a year. Turn off the appliance, remove all food, allow ice to melt, clean the interior, and dry thoroughly before restarting.
  8. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the interior regularly with a lukewarm water and vinegar mixture. Keep ventilation grilles clear.

Troubleshooting and error codes
