Using Your Appliance

Switching On/Off and Temperature: Turn the temperature dial to the right to switch on, and fully left to switch off. The compressor activates until the set temperature is reached. Use a coin or screwdriver for adjustment. Recommended setting is medium.

Pilot Lights: Green indicates power and operation. Yellow indicates Super Freeze is on. Red indicates the freezer compartment is too warm (alarm).

Warning Buzzer: Sounds when the red pilot light is on.

Starting Up the Freezer

Switch on the freezer and, if equipped, the SUPER FREEZE SWITCH. Do not open the door for about 4 hours or until the red light goes off. Fill with frozen food. Switch off SUPER FREEZE after 24 hours maximum.

Freezing/Storing Fresh Food

Pack food in suitable portions. Label with product name, weight, quantity, freezing date, and use-by date. Freeze in suitable packaging, avoiding contact with already frozen food. Do not overfill drawers.

Troubleshooting and error codes

What to do when...... Please check:
The appliance does not function (it's not running).
  • Is the plug in good order and is it plugged in the socket properly?
  • Is the electricity coming through?
  • Is the appliance switched on? (Temperature dial should not be set to "0").
Your appliance is not cooling sufficiently. The freezing process is taking too long. The compressor is running too often.
  • Did you make sure that the fridge / freezer was left to stand for at least 2 hours before switching it on?
  • The door does not close tightly and is not sealing properly.
  • Heavy ice formation on the inside walls of the freezer compartment.
  • The appliance is exposed to direct sunlight or is sited near a direct heat source.
  • The freezer has been filled up with a quantity of fresh food which does not comply with the freezing capacity indicated on the rating plate.
  • Is the ventilation working properly?
Your appliance is excessively noisy.
  • Is the cabinet standing level and steady?
