Powering On/Off:

Press the POWER button on the remote control or the power switch on the TV to turn the TV on or off.

Using the Remote Control:

The remote control has various buttons for controlling the TV:

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptoms Items to Check and Actions to follow
"Ghost" or double images Obstruction to the antenna (e.g., high rise buildings, hills). Try a directional antenna.
No power Check AC power cord connection. Unplug, wait 60 seconds, re-insert, and turn on.
No picture Check antenna connections. Try another channel. Adjust contrast/brightness. Check AV source.
No picture and power switched on Check for overheating. Ensure vents are clear for air flow.
Picture position adjustment Adjust receiver box controls if TV controls are out of range.
No photo, music or video play or in poor quality Check if the source complies with a supported code.
No sound Increase VOLUME. Check if MUTE is on. No signal may cause sound to switch off.
Good sound but poor color or no picture Adjust contrast, color, tint, brightness. Check antenna connection.
Snowish picture and noise Check antenna connection.
Television not responding to remote control Check batteries. Clean remote sensor lens. Ensure operating range (approx. 20 ft). Use TV's side buttons. Check remote mode.
Control of accessory devices Replace batteries of remote control. Keep away wireless headphones.
PC modes do not work Check connections. Select correct source (AV). Configure computer for compatible display resolution.
Standby TV consumes less than 1W in standby.
After improper shutdown Startup may take longer.
