Powering On/Off: Press the STANDBY button to turn the system on from standby mode or to turn it off to Standby Mode. Unplug the system when not in use for extended periods. Connections: Ensure all connections (speakers, antennas, auxiliary equipment, AC power cord) are made before plugging into an outlet. Refer to diagrams for correct speaker and control cable connections. Tuning Radio: Use the FUNCTION button or AM/FM switch to select tuner function. Tune manually or automatically. Preset stations for quick access. CD Operation: Select CD function, open/close disc door, place disc, and press PLAY/PAUSE. Use track selection buttons and skip/search functions. Program play and random play are available. MP3 Disc Playing: Insert MP3 disc, use CD/OSD button to view ID3 info or directory. Navigate tracks and directories. Play/Pause and Stop functions apply.
