Warranty Information

Observe installation, use, and servicing instructions to benefit from electrical safeguards.

  • To turn the unit ON or to STANDBY, use the POWER button on the front panel or remote.
  • For heat dispersal, ensure at least 10 cm of space around the unit.
  • Ensure the unit is installed horizontally.
  • If no sound is emitted from speakers, check volume and speaker connections.
  • The unit has a muting circuit and takes 5-6 seconds to stabilize after POWER ON.
  • Do not open covers or insert metal objects to avoid electric shock or faults.
  • Unplug during electrical storms. Protect from dripping or splashing.
  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid thinners, benzene, or alcohol.
  • Protect from excessive heat, dust, and moisture.
  • Ensure CD player is not in a confined location for proper heat dissipation.
  • Do not place foreign objects in the disc compartment.
  • Allow 1-2 hours for condensation to dissipate if moving from cold to warm room.

  • Be cautious with amplifier volume to prevent speaker damage due to dynamic range.
  • Store discs in moderate temperatures and humidity.
  • Remove discs from trays when moving the unit.
  • Do not use special-shaped or damaged CDs.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Generales
The unit does not turn on when the power switch is pressed. The power cord is not plugged into a power outlet. Plug the power cord firmly into a power outlet.
No sound from the speakers. The VOLUME control is adjusted to the minimum. Adjust the control to an appropriate position.
No treble sound or unclear instrument positioning. Headphones are connected. Disconnect the headphones.
You hear a source other than the desired one. Speaker cords are not connected firmly. Connect them firmly.
You hear a whistling sound in FM programs. Sound muting is activated. Deactivate sound muting.
You hear a whistling sound in MW programs. Speaker polarities are reversed. Connect the speaker cords correctly.
You hear a humming sound in MW programs. The function is not set correctly. Set the desired function with the FUNCTION button.
The total number of tracks does not appear when the disc is loaded. Antenna orientation is poor. Change the antenna orientation. Install an outdoor antenna.
Nothing happens when operating buttons are pressed. Station signals are weak. Turn off the TV. Change the orientation of the loop antenna. Install an outdoor antenna.
The disc stops mid-track and does not play correctly. Noise from a TV or interference from another station. Insert the power cord in the opposite direction. Install an outdoor antenna.

CD player
The disc is loaded upside down. There is a foreign object in the disc tray. The disc is dirty. The disc is scratched. Load the disc again. Remove the disc and the foreign object. Clean the disc. Replace with a non-scratched disc.
Dirt, fingerprints, saliva, etc. on the disc. The disc is scratched. Clean the disc. Replace with a non-scratched disc.
The player is on an unstable or vibrating surface. Place the player on a stable surface without vibrations.
Protector circuit
HCU-R30E is equipped with a high-speed protection circuit. Signals from the power cord are modulated by the power source frequency. Insert the power cord in the opposite direction.
