  • Powering ON/OFF: Press the Standby button to turn the unit on ('HELLO' scrolls) or off ('ECOPOWER' scrolls).\n

  • Clock Mode: Press the CLOCK button to display the clock. The unit automatically switches to ECO-Power mode if idle for 90 seconds (clock mode) or 15 minutes (normal mode).\n

  • Setting Clock: Automatically syncs with DAB/RDS time using INFO button. Manually set by pressing and holding CLOCK, then using navigation buttons and confirming.\n

  • Alarm Timer: Set using TIMER/SLEEP button. Select source (DISC, USB, TUNER, DAB), hour, minute, and volume. The 'icon appears when activated.\n

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No power
  • Ensure the mains cable is connected to the mains socket and switched on.
  • Press the & Standby button.
The remote control does not function
  • Use the remote control near the unit.
  • Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the unit.
  • Replace the battery in the remote control with a new one.
  • Remove any obstacles between the remote control and the unit.
The unit does not respond when pressing any buttons
  • The unit may freeze up during use. Switch the unit off and then on again at the mains socket to reset the unit.
CD
The disc does not play
  • There is no disc inside the unit (“NO DISC” appears on the display).
  • Insert the disc correctly with the label side facing up.
  • Clean the disc.
  • PAUSE mode may be activated, deactivate it.
  • A non-valid disc has been inserted.
  • Condensation may have formed inside the unit due to a sudden change in temperature. Wait about an hour for it to clear and try again.
Disc skips
  • Make sure the unit is on a flat, level surface away from vibration. Vibrations or jarring can cause the disc to skip.
Files from MP3/WMA discs don't play
  • Check the file format.
  • This product only supports MP3/WMA File formats.
Radio
Desired station not found
  • Weak signal. Use the Manual Tune function.
  • Extend or reposition the aerial.
USB
Unable to insert USB device
  • Insert the USB device the other way round.
Cannot play some files from USB device
  • Some USB devices may not be compatible with the unit.
  • Only MP3/WMA file formats are supported.
Bluetooth
I cannot find "AXM139E" on my Bluetooth device
  • Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your Bluetooth device.
