This service manual provides detailed information for servicing the Hitachi DA-5000.
Basic Operation
- Loading: Place disc on the horizontal disc table. Press the Open/Close button. Auto-loading will engage.
- Play: Press the Play button.
- Pause: Press the Play/Pause button during playback. Press again to resume.
- Stop: Press the Stop/Clear button.
- Track Selection: Use the Track/Time select button to choose tracks.
- Fast Forward/Backward: Use the Fast Forward/Index or Fast Backward/Index buttons.
- Memory Functions: Utilize the Memory button for programmed playback.
- Repeat: Press the Repeat button for various repeat modes (track, program, all).
