GENERAL ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
RADIO SECTION
These adjustments are made after the Upper Case and the FL meter P.W.B. have been removed.
Adjustment points
- Perform adjustment at least 3 minutes after the power has been switched on.
FM TUNER ADJUSTMENT
FUNCTION: FM
- Sequence 1: IF Amp. Connect to TP. 1, adjust FM IFT.
- Sequence 2: "S" curve Connect to TP. 3, adjust T201.
- Sequence 3: Discriminator Connect FM antenna to TP. 4, adjust 98 MHz with T201.
- Sequence 4: MPX VCO Connect antenna terminal to TP. 6, adjust 89.9 MHz with RT301.
AM TUNER ADJUSTMENT
FUNCTION: AM
- Sequence 1: IF AMP. Adjust T202.
- Sequence 2: Covering Adjust MW L152 and LW L154.
- Sequence 3: Tracking Adjust MW L151 and LW L153.
