Hitachi warrants this component to be free of defects in parts and workmanship for 1 year parts and labor.
Handling the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with care:
- Do not press, hit, or prick the LCD surface.
- If unevenness occurs on the display, turn the unit off and on again.
- Do not place the unit with the LCD screen down.
- Close the LCD monitor when not in use.
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and Viewfinder:
- Pixels may be missing or lit, which is a limitation of the technology and not a fault.
- The LCD screen and viewfinder may appear dimmer at low temperatures or when first turned on.
Holding the DVD Video Camera/Recorder Correctly:
- Do not hold the viewfinder or LCD monitor when lifting the unit.
Troubleshooting and error codes
