  • Recording: The DVD video camera/recorder can record on both HDD and DVD. In FINE mode, HDD recording can last up to 11 hours, while DVD recording is up to 30 minutes.
  • Dubbing: Simple one-button dubbing to an 8 cm DVD is possible without a DVD recorder or PC.
  • Photo Capture: Record images from videos as photos on a card.
  • Playback: Start recording immediately after stopping playback without needing to search for blank sections. Play back recorded scenes instantly without rewinding.
  • Disc Navigation: Create original movies by deleting, moving, or arranging scenes to form a Play List. Edit scenes from HDD or disc.
  • DVD Creation: Create original DVDs on a PC using the provided software CD-ROM.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Possible Cause Solution
Disc cannot be recognized Dust, scratch, or dirt on disc, or disc is warped. Clean the disc. Use a brand new disc for important recordings.
Recording interrupted Portions of disc with dust, scratches, etc. The device will pause and automatically restart recording. Recordable time may decrease.
HDD not recognized, recording, playback, or dubbing impossible Vibrations or impact. Avoid vibrations and impact, especially during recording, playback, or dubbing.
Recording/playback not possible due to temperature Temperature too high or too low. Ensure the device is within its operating temperature range. If too high, the message "The temperature of HDD is outside the operating temperature range. Turn off power." may appear. Try using with a DVD if possible.
