Getting Started: Load battery and SD card (optional). Charge battery using AC adapter or USB cable.
Recording: Flip out LCD or press Power button to turn on. Switch to Movie Record mode (Movie Mode LED lights up). Press OK to start recording, press again to stop. Capture still images during movie recording using the Mode button.
Picture Taking: Switch to Picture Record mode (Picture Mode LED lights up). Press OK halfway to focus, then fully to take picture. Use Tele/Wide buttons to zoom.
Playback: Press Playback Button to enter Playback mode. Use Rolling Wheel to navigate.
Other Functions: Includes Flash/Digital Light, Zoom, Self-Timer, Macro Mode, ISO settings, and file conversion software.

Troubleshooting and error codes

| LCD preview is not clear while shooting | Try to switch between Macro and Auto Mode. |
| Flash is not working | Battery power is low. Camera is in DC power mode. |
| Memory card files do not display smoothly with "!" marking | The SD card is low speed or has wrong content. Format SD card by the camera instead of a PC. |
| Camera flash not active when taking pictures | In flash auto mode, the camera flash fires ONLY when necessary. |
| Indoor pictures look blurry and dark | Camera extends picture exposure time in low light. Keep the camera and subject steady. |
| How do I charge battery? | Use the supplied AC charger or USB cable. Camera must be turned OFF. Blinking light indicates charging; constant light means charging complete. Light turns off automatically after 5 minutes (in AC charging mode). |
