Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power Switch [I] to turn the monitor ON or OFF. The power LED lights when ON.
  • Degaussing: Press the [DEGAUSS] button to manually degauss the monitor. Use this when color impurities appear after turning on. Wait 10 minutes between degaussing.
  • Moire Reduction: Press the [MOIRE] switch to turn Moire Reduction ON/OFF. This is effective for horizontal moire.
  • Adjustments: Use the control panel buttons (e.g., [ ], [-], [+]) to adjust Contrast, Brightness, Horizontal/Vertical Position, Horizontal/Vertical Size, and Pincushion.
  • Color Select: Select standard color balances (9300K, 6500K) or a user-defined balance (No.3).
  • Color Adjustment: Adjust Red, Green, and Blue color levels individually. Storing adjustments saves them to User Color Balance No.3.
  • Store: Press [STORE] to save settings like Rotation, Parallelogram, Color, Contrast, Brightness, and Color Select. Geometry settings are stored per video mode.
  • Reset: Turn ON the power while pressing [+] and [-] to reset all stored data to original settings.
  • Signal Check: Press [ ] to display horizontal and vertical scanning frequencies.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting
Problem: Picture doesn't appear after turning on. Solution: Turn OFF power. Ensure computer power switch is ON, power cord is connected, signal cable is connected, and input sync signal is correct. Wait 30 seconds before restarting the monitor.
Problem: Color is impure on the screen. Solution: Wait 10 minutes after turning ON. Press the Degauss button.
Problem: Monitor operates unusually. Solution: After turning OFF the power switch, wait at least 5 seconds before restarting.
Message: "INVALID SYNC." appears. Solution: Check computer power switch and cable connection. All LEDs will light continuously for 5 seconds.
Message: "INVALID SCAN FREQ." appears. Solution: Verify the specification of the input signal.
