OPERATION SUMMARY

1. FUNCTION OF CONTROLS

  • Power Switch: Turns the monitor ON or OFF. The power LED lights when ON. Automatic adjustments for picture position, size, pincushion, trapezoid, color balance, brightness, and contrast are made.
  • Degauss Button: Activates manual degaussing to remove color impurities on the screen. Use only when necessary, as the monitor automatically degausses on initial power-on. Wait 10 minutes before repeating.
  • Increase/Decrease Button [+]/[-]: Adjusts the value of selected items.
  • Contrast Button: Enters contrast adjustment mode. Use [+] to brighten and [-] to darken the display (excluding background).
  • Brightness Button: Adjusts brightness. Use [+] to brighten and [-] to darken the display (including background).
  • Color Button: Selects color balance settings. Flashing indicates standard settings (1 or 2) or user-defined settings (3). Use [+]/[-] to change balance.
  • Geometry Adjust Buttons: For adjusting horizontal/vertical position and size, side pincushion, and trapezoid. Use [+]/[-] for adjustments.
  • Store Button: Saves current settings (geometry, color balance, contrast, brightness).

2. OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Automatic Settings: On power-on, the monitor automatically adjusts contrast, brightness, color balance, and geometry.
  • No Signal Alarm: All LEDs light if no sync signal is received. Check connections and settings.
  • Power Saving Function: Enters low power mode after 10 seconds of no sync signal.
  • Video Muting Function: Mutes the picture during sync signal changes to hide scrambled images.
