Warranty Information
Hitachi warrants this product to be free of defects for 1 year for parts (except battery) and 90 days for labor.
- Turn on the player and TV.
- Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray.
- Place the disc on the tray with the label facing up.
- Press PLAY to start playback.
- Press STOP to stop playback.
- Use the remote control buttons for various playback functions like SKIP, PAUSE, FF/REW, ZOOM, etc.

Troubleshooting and error codes

| No DTS audio output | -Use a DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack when outputting the DTS audio. |
| Picture freezes momentarily during playback | -Check the disc for fingerprints/scratches and clean with a soft cloth wiping from center to edge. |
| Disc can't be played | -Clean the disc -Ensure the disc label is facing up. -Check if the disc is defective by trying another disc. |
| No return to start-up screen when disc is removed | -Cancel the parental lock or change the control level. -Insert a correct disc that plays on this player. |
| The player does not respond to the remote control | -Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the player. -Reduce the distance to the player. -Replace the batteries in the remote control. |
