The Power Supply DCU 2401 is an energy supply device for supplying fire alarm systems. It provides a 28 V DC output voltage for external devices and an integrated emergency power supply with batteries. The device protects connected components from deep discharge and automatically returns to normal operation when mains power is restored. It features programmable relay outputs and can be connected to the esserbus®/esserbus®-PLus loop via an optional esserbus®-Koppler. The system monitors mains and battery status, and can power visual and acoustic alarm devices.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| LED | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
| LED1 green | Solid | Mains voltage (230 V AC) is switched on. Device is ready for operation. |
| LED1 green | Blinking | 230 V AC mains voltage failure. External devices are supplied by connected batteries (emergency operation). |
| LED1 red | Solid | Battery internal resistance too high (after a battery test). Deep discharge warning (UBat. < 22 V). |
