Step Action
1 If you are installing a new Power Supply, go to step 7. If you are replacing the Power Supply, go to step 2.
2 Remove power from the power supply to be replaced.
3 Disconnect the power connections from the power supply. See Figure 4 or Figure 5.
4 Disconnect the safety ground jumper from between the controller chassis and the power supply terminal board. See Figure 4 or Figure 5.
5 Remove the screws that secure the power supply module assembly to the rack. Note that these screws function to jack the module board assembly away from the rack.
6 Pull the power supply assembly to remove.
7 Remove the Power Supply from its shipping container and insert it into the slot location in the rack as shown in Figure 1, 2, or 3. Orient the module to have the Honeywell Logo on the top. Push the power supply module into the slot until the rear connector engages the mating connector of the rack backplane.
8 Insert a flat screwdriver into the top and bottom holes in the tool secure power supply door and pull the door outward to access the mounting screws.
9 Secure the new power supply module top and bottom with the captive mounting screws.
10 Connect the ground jumper between the controller safety ground connection and power supply ground terminal. See Figure 4 or Figure 5.
11 Connect the power wiring to the power supply. See Figure 4 or Figure 5.
12 Apply/re-apply power to the power supply.
