User Tips

Honeywell Portable Air Conditioners are ideal for spot cooling. The unit is easy to move and offers a flexible air conditioning solution. The Auto Evaporation System automatically evaporates condensate, usually eliminating the need to empty the drainage tank. For optimal efficiency, keep doors and windows closed when using the air conditioner or dehumidifier. For fan-only mode, an open window can improve circulation.

Important: Place the unit upright for 1 hour before use to allow refrigerant to stabilize. The air outlet automatically opens when the unit is turned on and closes when turned off. Manually adjust the air vent for airflow direction. Ensure the unit is plugged into a properly grounded circuit and do not use an extension cord.

Modes

  • COOL: Adjust fan speed and temperature (16°C - 32°C / 61°F - 89°F).
  • DRY: Fan speed is preset to LOW. Exhaust hose can be disconnected for dehumidifier-only use.
  • FAN: For air circulation without cooling.
  • HEAT (on applicable models): Set temperature between 16°C - 32°C (61°F - 89°F). Requires draining from lower drain plug and venting exhaust hose outside.
  • SLEEP: Modifies temperature settings gradually over a 10-hour period for enhanced comfort and energy saving. Can be deactivated by pressing any button.

Controls

Power Control: Turns the unit on/off. A red light indicates Standby Mode.

Fan Speed: High, Medium, Low settings.

Timer Control: Set auto turn-off or auto turn-on from 1 to 24 hours.

Temperature Control: Adjust thermostat settings. Display toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing both + and - buttons simultaneously.

Water Full Light: Illuminates when the internal tank is 50% full and alarms when 100% full, requiring draining.

Note: After switching off, wait 3 minutes before restarting the compressor.
