1 FEATURES

2 FUNCTION
  • A. Z-Wave controlled outlet: This outlet can remotely turn the connected device ON or OFF.
  • B. Manual/Program Button: 1. Single press - Turn lamp ON or OFF. 2. Single press - Add or remove from Z-Wave network.
  • C. LED (behind button): 1. Default - The LED under the program button lights up when the connected lamp is ON. 2. Invert - For the LED to light up when the connected lamp is OFF, rapidly press the program button 10 times.
3 INSTALLATION
  1. Plug the device you want to control into the Z-Wave controlled outlet on the smart switch.
  2. Plug the smart switch directly into a grounded outlet (top outlet recommended if available).
NOTE: Plug directly into outlet. Do not use with extension cord. 4 OPERATION The manual/program button on the smart switch allows the user to:
  • Manually turn the connected device(s) ON or OFF (by pressing and releasing the button).
  • Add or remove the smart switch from the network.
5 CONNECTION ADDING YOUR DEVICE TO A Z-WAVE NETWORK
  1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to add a device to the Z-Wave network.
  2. Once the controller is ready to add your device, press and release the manual/program button on the smart switch to add it to the network. You now have full control to turn your device ON or OFF based on groups, scenes, schedules, and interactive automations programmed by your controller. If your Z-Wave certified controller has remote access, you can now control your fixture from your mobile devices.
TO REMOVE OR RESET DEVICE
  1. Follow the instructions for your Z-Wave certified controller to remove a device from the Z-Wave network.
  2. Once the controller is ready to remove your device, press and release the manual/program button on the smart switch to remove it from the network.
TO RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS
  1. If applicable, unplug the switch from the outlet.
  2. Press and hold the top button, plug the device in, and continue holding for at least 3 seconds.
NOTE: Perform this action only if the network's primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
