The ADEMCO 269R/270R Holdup Switch is a finger-operated switch for activating a holdup signal. It can be programmed for a normally closed or normally open loop, with or without an EOL resistor. The device can be converted to a non-latching type by removing and cutting the trigger assembly. Mounting involves using the case as a template for drilling pilot holes and securing the device with screws. Regular maintenance and testing are vital for satisfactory operation of any alarm system.
