IS-310 Request-to-Exit Sensor Operation

The Honeywell IS-310 is a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor designed to provide free exit from a building without triggering an alarm. When mounted inside a building near an exterior door and connected to an access control system, it allows individuals to exit freely. The sensor can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and offers adjustable detection ranges (long or short). Its operation can be configured using DIP switches to select between Request-to-Exit mode or Security Sensor mode, disable the LED, and set relay timer modes (re-trigger or fixed) and timing. Shutter adjustments are available to fine-tune the detection field width.
