Unpacking: Unpack the monitor, ensure all contents are present, and store the box. Turn off computer and other devices. Prepare a flat, protected area. A Phillips screwdriver may be needed for wall-mounting.
Installing: Mount on a desktop or wall. Connect cables after installation. Place the monitor face down on a soft surface to prepare for desktop setup, then unfold. For wall-mounting, disconnect cables, place face down, remove base screws, slide base away, and remove the back plate. Follow mounting fixture instructions for secure attachment.
Connecting Cables: Use VGA or DVI-D cables (select models). Ensure computer and monitor are off. For HDMI, connect to a computer with an HDMI connector. Audio and video cables are described, with notes on DVI-to-HDMI adapters and separate audio connections for VGA/DVI signals. HDCP support is explained.
Power: Connect the power cord to the monitor and a grounded electrical outlet. Route the cord safely.
Adjustments: Tilt and swivel the monitor for optimal viewing without touching the screen. Utilize keyboard parking for space-saving.
