- Attach Camera Strap: Reduce the risk of dropping the camera by attaching and using the provided strap.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment at the bottom, insert batteries with correct orientation, and close securely.
- Insert Memory Card: Open the memory card compartment, insert the SD/SDHC card with metallic connectors facing the front until it clicks, and close the compartment.
- Initial Settings: When powered on for the first time, set the display language and date/time using the navigation controls and OK button.
- Modes: Switch between Scene Mode (for capturing images/videos) and Playback Mode (for viewing/editing).
- Taking Photos: Power on, frame the shot using the LCD focus bracket, lightly press the shutter button for focus and exposure, and fully press to take the photo.
- Function Menu: Press the FUNC button to adjust basic capture settings like resolution, EV compensation, AWB, ISO, etc.
- Playback: Slide the mode switch to Playback mode, use navigation keys to view images/videos, and press OK to play movies or audio.
- Setup Menu: Access the Setup menu by pressing the MENU button to configure general camera settings like sound, power save, date/time, and language.
